The Lyons Firefighter Association is holding their 8th Annual
Chili Cook-off Saturday October 6th, 9am - 4pm
Be sure to come check out all the great tasting chili and eventst including a bazaar, car show, chili tasting, bake sale, door prizes. Get a chance to dunk a firefighter in the dunk tank. Don't forget to bring 2 cans of non-perishable food (please check the date) for the Christmas Toy and Food drive.
All proceeds go to the Lyons Firefighters Associaton to purchase or update needed equipment.
Check out a few photos from 2011! There was lots of fun to be had by all, which included Fire truck rides for the kids with a donation of non perishable food for the Lyons Fire Department's Christmas Food and Toy drive. Local car owners and members of car clubs filled the parking lots with their great looking cars for everyone to enjoy. Vendors inside gave people the opportunity to shop for unique gifts. Reach and Life Flight made a special appearance giving the public a chance to check out the helicopter up close. Thanks to all who attended and participated! |
